Glory, Glory Hangover

It’s been one of the best and worst weekends wrapped into one.
This Sunday was Norway’s national day, and so the day before is naturally the national drunk day.
We hit the town early and watched United clinch their 18th league title.
In the aftermath of that I managed to buy some horrible, expensive champagne that was actually warm.
Well, it was fun anyway.

After that we hit another pub where we got some food and a lot more beer.
Here we tried to play an alcoholic’s version of “Lodden Thinks”, but no one really managed to concentrate enough about the rules and so we just drank.

After we had been drinking for eight hours, we decided to go somewhere else to… well… drink some more.
We caught the Rosenborg – Molde match, and I had more reason to celebrate as Rosenborg failed to win. I hate them.

The rest of the night was more drinking, and the next morning was more drinking until we all fell asleep.
I of course woke up with the worst hangover this world has ever seen.
I could barely move at times.

Poker wise it’s been good as well, but playing on Sunday was undoubtedly not a good idea, as almost all tournaments went to hell with me being so hung over, but it all became much better on Monday, when I managed to get another final table and some decent finishes in some of the really big (in number of people) tournaments on Ongame.

On the negative side that Rybak twat is all over the media.
I hope all readers are well, and I hope Rybak’s not.

Playing Live, Playing Online and not Sleeping

I'm on almost no sleep at the moment.
I just can't sleep. Don't know what's wrong.
It may be all the energy drinks I've been downing. Wonder if that has anything to do with it?

It hasn't affected my game much, as I finished third in the Midnight Oil yesterday.
I didn't really play well at all, but it was obviously enough in the biggest fish pond I've ever fished in.

On the live side of things I've been playing well, and took down a 6-man SNG today.
It wasn't the toughest competition ever, but some of the guys are good and understand the concepts that I usually talk about.

But my head is fucking with me right now, and I feel like I've been drunk for days.
So trying to sleep now is on the top of the list of my priorities.
Just looking forward to the next few days, and especially tomorrow, as Sunday, well, it's really just the poker day.
Oh, and looking forward to next weekend. National day and the yearly national drunk day, the day before.

PS: Wanted to post a Rihanna picture as this post's picture, but I feel it doesn't fullfill my definition of funny. It's just brilliant.

Good week, better future

It really has been a good week, but a lot of work has limited my poker time.
The highlight clearly being hitting a 4.15 bet on Start today in the third minute of overtime.

Just played about 2k hands with 8.81BB/100, which is good, but I hope to get in that amount of hands a day June, and hopefully 1k hands a day for the rest of the month.

Also; the Ducks beat Red Wings, lovely.

Blogging will become better with the amount of time becoming better, so if I were you, I'd be looking forward to some long, horrible blog posts!
