Poker, Poker, TV, Poker

When I play poker, I always watch something or listen to something while I play.
Right now I'm watching "Ross Kemp On Gangs".
Not for the entertainment value, but it's really a great show.
If anyone got any shows they think I should watch, please tell.
But be aware, I've watched a lot of different TV shows the last years.

As for poker I'm waiting for money at the moment, but the grinding hasn't stopped.
I've had some experimental sessions with good success, so I feel my game is as good as it's ever been.

Played live yesterday, but finished in third after losing a flip.
It annoyed me a bit, so I got drunk, that's more fun.

The plan for tomorrow is to grind out at least 2k hands, and get some training in, hopefully some tennis.
I'm sorry if this blog post is boring, but I just haven't done anything fun.
If you don't call losing 7 out of 8 football bets fun.

Summer's Coming

Will you be plundering this summer?
I'm hoping to do so at the tables, but I'm not sure it would be very socially acceptable if I got a ship and started plundering the local beaches.

It's been quite a meh day with just some 3-a-side football, which was a pretty good reminder of what horrible shape I am in.

Other than that I've been doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
Which I guess is good enough for now, but in the long run, not so much.

Still waiting for my bwin money, so I can start really grinding NL50.
3 days for withdrawal through Moneybookers is a really long time, right?
Mega-tabling NL10 is a bit fun I suppose, but the hourly rate doesn't really excite me.
I still haven't quite decided where to grind this summer, but Stars seems the best alternative just due to the massive player pool.

Things to do this summer:
- Learn to play golf
- Grind for a living
- Become a better tennis player
- Drink more alcohol
- Get to a stage where I could be called "somewhat fit".

The last two may look like they are not combineable, and that's probably right.

Long time, no blog

I bet my zero readers have missed me.
The last few weeks have consisted of mostly some serious soul searching.
What will I do this summer? That's the question I've been pondering.

A: Should I keep my job and work every single weekend before I start university?
B: Or should I quit and play poker for a living and doing whatever the fuck I want?

I landed on B.
I know it's a slight risk, but what do I have to lose?
I'll be leaving my job after May, so I'll have the money I need even if the poker playing doesn't go as well as I'm hoping for.

So, per definiton; this summer I'm a professional poker player.
Who knows how many chances I'll have to say that.

This also gives me more time to get in shape for the tennis bet.
There's just no way I'll lose that. Just too much prestige involved.
Oh, and I said I was going to stay sober for a while back in March.
I did.
It lasted well over 40 hours
